Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Plans Flexible Spending Account Short and Long Term Disability Supplemental Life and AD&D 401(k) Retirement Savings w/ Company Match Stock Purchase Plan Company Discounts Legal Insurance Paid Time Off and Holidays What you'll do… Maintain responsibility for the material purchasing process including issuing POs, determining appropriate timing of material orders (ensuring best price) and purchase tracking (ensuring in-time delivery) Maintain organization of inventory and yard at assigned facilities Order and coordinate project supplies to arrive on time and at the correct location Receive new material shipments and verify order content and completeness Physically or mechanically handle and store new material shipments Develop and create reporting for Min/Max levels, material demand, forecast and budget purposes Manage inventory for specific jobs by staging materials from each job's pick list Communicate inventory needs to the Supply Chain Manager Aid in holding employees and subcontractors accountable to appropriate documentation of inventory as it is taken and returned to designated yards/warehouses Maintain location(s) inventory list by allocating inventory to individual jobs and tracking inventory changes using a scanner, computer and/or inventory system software Coordinate and/or conduct physical inventory reconciliations and follow-up on inventory discrepancies Act as the primary lead at the site for all customer material requests and check outs Deliver material to other locations or job sites as needed Participate in and adheres to all Company Safety requirements You will organize shelves or place stock received in proper storage areas. You will ensures all materials are packed properly You will coordinate transportation logistics, including truck deliveries and driver schedules. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months prior related inventory maintenance experience Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, correspondence and memos Effective and respectful written and verbal communication Problem solver and logical thinker Ability to control essential job functions in a fast paced environment that interacts with both internal and external work crews and customers Team oriented, keeping the organizational needs at the forefront of mind Proficient use of Internet software and databases Familiarity with Inventory tracking systems and hardware Familiarity with Google-based applications such as G-mail, Google docs and sheets is helpful Understanding and use of general arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, units of measure and weight using whole numbers, fractions and decimals Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT health card Forklift certified or willingness to be certified within the first 60 days of employment Valid driver's license with favorable driving record is required - Class A or B licensure preferred Physical Requirements: Frequent sit, stand and/or walk Frequent bend, squat, kneel, crawl or twist on concrete, dirt or gravel surfaces Frequently stand on a concrete, dirt or gravel surface Frequent use of sight (specifically, close to preform computer work), hearing and voice Use of hands, arms and fingers to perform routine and repetitive tasks Regular light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Occasionally work in adverse weather conditions and uneven surfaces Operate a computer, telephone or other office equipment Be in a frequently loud environment Wear required personal protective equipment Who we are...
