Inventory and Purchasing Supervisor
Accounting Department / Reports to Controller
SUMMARY:
This position oversees purchasing and inventory-related functions at all company locations to maximize revenue and minimize costs. Will maintain, and document HVAC, Plumbing, Drain, and Electric inventory and maintain a system for feedback to departmental purchase functions to ensure processes are maintained.
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 a year plus bonus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Monitor vendor relationships and contribute to negotiated pricing.
•Update Service Titan pricebook and vendor database as needed.
•Meet quarterly with vendors to communicate company support needs, competitive pricing needs and warranty/rebate issues.
•Meet regularly with accounting to review outstanding warranty credits and/or issues.
•Purchasing Function Oversight / Execution (as required with adjusted process)
•Assist in generation and processing of purchase orders.
•Provides other support for Accounting Department as needed.
•Review receiving documentation for accuracy of revenue and costs.
•Process and Post receiving activity to Service Titan for batching to Intacct system.
•Contact vendors regarding PO fulfillment issues
•Implement Service Titan Inventory module across company.
•Assure timely inventory counts are coordinated and performed on all mobile, in stock, and fixed inventory.
•Update product or brand changes as needed.
•Create and distribute inventory reports to senior leaders.
•Provide assistance to other Departments as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position oversees any co-worker temporarily or permanently assigned to assist in these functional areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma. Possess at least one (1) year of supervisory experience, preferably in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
•LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups and/or co-workers of the organization.
•MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
•REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
•COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of how to access and use the internet and have a good working knowledge of Data Entry (inventory) software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Microsoft Outlook knowledge and experience is helpful.
