About the Role:
U.S. Pipe is seeking an Inventory Control Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be working within the Finance team responsible for inventory management support and process flow documentation.
Specific Responsibilities:
•Perform cycle counts of the finished goods yard activity (predominantly outdoors), gasket house, and accessories building.
•Utilize MS office, JD Edwards and Power-BI for various daily tasks.
•Proceed with packaging confirmations of previous day utilizing finished download report and JDE application.
•Work with Q.C. yard inspectors to process any non-conforming pipe and product returns.
•Process inventory transactions using RTS applications and JDE.
•Perform monthly inventory counts of semi-finished product and distribute report.
Skills and Qualifications:
•A current college student or recent graduate from an accredited institution.
•An interest in Inventory Management and Process Flow protocol.
•Competency with RTS System and various RF devices such as handheld scanners and touch screen computers is a plus but not required.
•Experience with MS Office.
•Basic understanding of bar-coding and product identification techniques
