Retail Inventory Manager

Summary

We are seeking a Retail Inventory & Expense Manager to oversee inventory levels, optimize ordering processes, and control expenses across retail and gas station locations. This role is responsible for tracking inventory, developing ordering guides, analyzing budgets, implementing cost control methods, and ensuring efficient product cycling, creating planagrams.

Duties

Monitor inventory levels to maintain stock accuracy and prevent shortages or overstock.

Develop ordering guides for gas stations to standardize and streamline purchasing.

Analyze expenses, vendor pricing, and inventory costs to optimize spending and identify savings.

Review sales and inventory data to guide purchasing decisions and reduce waste.

Implement inventory management procedures for efficient stock control and movement.

Ensure proper inventory cycling by tracking slow-moving and high-turnover products.

Work with vendors to place orders, negotiate pricing, and track shipments.

Generate reports to forecast inventory needs and support financial decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor?s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management, retail operations, or expense control.

Strong analytical and budgeting skills.

Proficiency in inventory tracking software, spreadsheets, and expense management tools.

Ability to develop and implement efficient ordering and stocking strategies.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of retail operations, especially in gas station or convenience store settings, is a plus.

Knowledge of Planagrams.
