Lanoha Nurseries is currently searching for an Inventory Specialist to monitor and report on the company’s inventory. We are looking for a self-starter who loves plants and numbers, and enjoys working both outdoors & indoors.

Requirements

•

High School Diploma

•

Experience with inventory control

•

Detail-Oriented is a must

•

Strong communication skills

•

Knowledge of horticulture preferred but not required

•

Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports

•

An analytical mind with strong math skills

•

Wide range of knowledge in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc)

•

Accuracy is a must

•

Ability to learn industry specific programs

Responsibilities

•

Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages

•

Analyze data to anticipate future needs & create orders

•

Visit areas of the property for physical assessment of current inventory daily

•

Record & Inspect daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory, and ensure quality and quantity matches purchase orders.

•

Create electronic inventory transfers between locations in our ERP system

•

Collaborate with various departments to ensure inventory is at necessary levels during various times of the year

•

Creating and receiving purchase orders, along with investigating and reconciling dated purchase orders with the Accounts Payable Team

•

Tagging new nursery stock

•

Moving plant material from one location to another based on demand needs.

•

Complete physical cycle counts of plant material
