Job Purpose: As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate tracking, counting, and movement of materials and equipment. Your role will be essential in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting, documentation, material handling, and investigation of discrepancies.
Responsibilities:•Inventory Management & Cycle Counting (60%)
•Perform regular cycle counts and record adjustments.
•Move materials using appropriate equipment.
•Consolidate and organize inventory to maximize efficiency.
•Reconcile discrepancies and report findings to management.
•Ensure quality assurance through inspection and documentation.
•Communicate with other departments to verify availability of inventory and equipment status.
•Work Area Organization (10%)
•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
•Properly label and store items in designated areas.
•Adhere to cleanliness and safety standards for all storage locations.
•Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
•Identify and report potential safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.
•Act quickly to correct or report unsafe conditions.

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Inventory control experience preferred.
•Ability to read engineering drawings.
•Proficiency with both metric and imperial measurements.
•Physically capable of lifting and working in varied environments.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
•Reliable, punctual, and committed to accuracy.
