Position Summary
Under general guidance of the Operations Manager, the Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for receiving, checking, and recording incoming shipments of various materials and products and tracking them in inventory.
Responsibilities
•Sort, count, sign and receive packages from shipping carriers
•Unload freight from shipping carriers
•Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor and/or purchasing personnel
•Create daily receiving log of all Purchase Orders received for Accounts Payable
•Deliver items to requisitioning departments
•Organize and maintain warehouse for efficient material storage
•Learn and participate in process of inventory put-away utilizing laptop and inventory put-away programs
•Enter Purchase Order information on tracker upon receipt for traceability
•Work with multiple departments including Inventory Picking, Purchasing, Sales, and Accounts Payable
•Receive Purchase Order inventory utilizing the ERP system comparing item number and quantity on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy and quality of receipt. Send emails to multiple departments documenting any problems with receipt
•Communicate with Purchasing for product returns due to quality or incorrect inventory
•Work with variety of small hand tools to disassemble or remove mounting hardware from inventory
•Document packaging and content of boxes and crates by taking pictures, un-packages, and create receipts of Purchase Order for stock buys utilizing receiving software
•Assist in inventory cycle counts and with audit processes
•Complete other duties assigned
Required Experience and Qualifications:
•High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field or a combination of education an experience.
•Experience moving and unloading equipment using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, lift carts, etc. Forklift certification desirable.
•Ability to recognize problems and to obtain and provide information.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong computer skills to include both MS Word & Excel.
•Experience working in ERP and WMS systems.
•Flexibility and work overtime as needed.

Location: Lebanon, TN
Compensation: Pay ranges from $20-$23 Hourly (depending on experience).
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available.
