The Opportunity

TC Energy is looking to add a 12-month Strategy, Governance & Programs intern in Calgary, AB to support our Strategy, Governance & Programs group.

If you're passionate about energy, eager to learn, and excited to work with a dynamic team, this role puts you at the heart of our External Relations team and programs. You’ll take on meaningful work, solve real challenges, and build a strong professional network across TC Energy.

What You’ll Do

- Partner with teams across North America to deliver External Relations programs, including community investment and corporate memberships.

- Support day-to-day operations of corporate partnerships with local organizations, nonprofits and advocacy groups.

- Help bring community partnerships to life through local campaigns, events and programming.

- Play a key role in delivering our annual scholarship programs across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

- Keep us organized through stakeholder communication, data collection, invoice support and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

- Actively enrolled in an Economics, International Relations, Communications, Political Science, Business Administration or related undergraduate degree program with at least one semester of education completed

- Enrollment at an accredited university, and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term

This position requires candidates to:

- Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)

- Occasionally be available for extended work hours outside of standard business hours, call-out support and emergency support
