INTERN, IT PROJECT MANAGER (La Crosse, WI) Hourly Wage $18.00

Under supervision, the Intern, IT Project Manager is responsible to assist with IT project management activities.

The Impact You Will Make in This Role: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

- Support the IT Program Manager with the execution of projects.

- Monitor project work and project activities, follow-up as necessary to move work forward.

- Utilize standard processes and tools to document project work.

- Participate in project team meetings, document and track team activities, risks, and changes.

- Work with schedulers and cost analysts in support of projects.

- Make suggestions for improvements to our project processes and tools.

- Assist with task of data collection, reporting and analysis of project data.

- Engage in communications with project teams and stakeholders.

- Participate in planning sessions and provide recommendations.

- Help drive planning, preparations, and delivery of IT project activities.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Experience and Expertise:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience:

Current student in 2- or 4-year degree program. Focus on project management, data analysis and / or reporting development within a Business degree. G.P.A. of 3.0 or above is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

Must be familiar with project management terminology and approaches along with being able to balance competing priorities. Possess effective Microsoft Office products skills. Ability to take ownership, ask for help when needed, and change approaches and methods to best fit the situations faced. Self-directed, organized and critical independent thinker. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Maintain data security, confidentiality, and integrity. Microsoft Power BI skills or aptitude a plus.
