Summary: The Inside Sales Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact and a key ambassador for Superior Lubricants. This role supports both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and field sales staff by providing exceptional administrative and sales support. The Inside Sales Support Specialist helps Territory Managers focus on customer engagement and revenue growth.
Essential duties of Position:
•Partner with Territory Managers to build and maintain accurate sales pipelines
•Assist in the preparation of quotes, equipment agreements, and marketing materials
•Generate new business opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and proactive outreach via cold calls and emails
•Manage the full process of new customer onboarding and setup
•Respond to inbound calls from existing and prospective customers, providing timely and professional assistance
•Track and report on weekly and monthly new account sales performance
•Accurately enter orders and provide order status updates; expedite when needed
•Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
•May require occasional travel to our Syracuse, NY location
•Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
•Minimum of 2 years' experience in inside sales or a similar customer-facing role (required)
•Experience with sales operations, marketing coordination, or relationship management (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
•Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard business applications to create reports, presentations, and marketing content.
•Demonstrates emotional intelligence and understands the importance of work-life balance to sustain high-quality service.
