We’re expanding our Inside Sales Team and looking for driven, mechanically savvy professionals who enjoy problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer service. - Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, or CRM system
- Discuss product features and benefits, focusing on generators, transfer switches, and service offerings
- Source parts and determine labor requirements for proposed scopes of work
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and professional proposals tailored to customer needs
- Coordinate with procurement and service departments to ensure timely and efficient project execution
- Create and manage customer work orders, including required parts and service tasks
- Provide consistent follow-up and high-level customer service throughout the sales process
- Sell Preventive Maintenance Contracts to new and existing customers
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and sales activity
- Build long-term customer relationships and promote repeat business opportunities
- Stay current on products, pricing, and industry trends
- Perform additional sales support duties as assigned
- Experience in industrial/commercial generator sales or service
- Strong mechanical knowledge, especially of generators and transfer switches
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email)
- Ability to read and interpret scopes of work and technical documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Experience with CRM systems a plus
