Infrastructure Server Specialist

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers.

- Perform server provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.

- Monitor server health and performance using tools like SolarWinds, VMware Ops Manager, and System Center.

- Troubleshoot server-related issues and provide Tier 2/3 support.

- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

- Support virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere).

- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure alerts.

- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in server administration and infrastructure support.

- Experience managing Windows Server and Linux environments.

- Experience managing VMWare server virtualization.

- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- SAN storage configuration and management experience

- Good understanding of server backup technologies (Veeam, Exagrid a plus)

- Experience managing Cisco UCS hardware.

- Regular and reliable attendance.
