The IS Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Information Systems (IS) department by managing daily administrative activities and ensuring the smooth delivery of IT services across the business. Working closely with IS Technical Support and the wider IS team, this role ensures IT equipment, assets, and scheduled tasks are effectively coordinated, documented, and delivered on time to support business operations.
- Manage the ordering and provisioning of IT equipment for new starters and existing employees.
- Raise and monitor CAPEX expenses related to IT equipment purchases.
- Ensure all IT equipment requests are logged accurately within the IT Helpdesk system.
- Coordinate with IS Technical Support to ensure new employees have IT equipment set up and ready for their start date.
- Monitor IS scheduled calls, ensuring completion within agreed timeframes and escalating risks or breaches to the IS Manager.
- Maintain and update stock records, scheduled call spreadsheets, and the IT asset register.
- Document and keep IS processes and procedures up to date, particularly for scheduled calls.
- Answer incoming calls to the IS department, record messages, and direct them to the appropriate team member.
- Work closely with IS Technicians to prioritize and allocate helpdesk tickets effectively.
- Support the IS department with ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
- Adhere to all company compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Proactively report compliance concerns, issues, or failures.
- Participate in required training and development activities.
- Demonstrate flexibility, adapting to changing duties and business needs where reasonable.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC use.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet objectives.
- A proactive, adaptable attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities aligned with experience and capability.
- Pay range: $40,000 to $60,000 USD. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
