Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our Commercial Services team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects.

Job Requirements

- Seek out work to bid to meet revenue expectations quarterly

- Build and prepare HVAC systems for buildings / design builds

- Prepare detailed HVAC estimates from drawings, specifications, and bid documents

- Perform quantity takeoffs for equipment, ductwork, piping, and labor

- Analyze project requirements, scope, and risk to develop competitive bids

- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams

- Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and value engineering

- Track bid submissions and maintain estimating databases and historical cost data

- Review change orders and assist with pricing revisions as needed

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating

- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, materials, and installation methods

- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam or similar)

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously

Salary

$72,000 - $100,000 (annually)
