Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage both technical documentation and client/vendor relationships effectively.

Job Description

- Review and interpret engineering and architectural drawings with a high level of accuracy

- Prepare detailed estimates and develop scopes of work for project bids based on specifications

- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding project requirements and requests for quotations (RFQs)

- Coordinate and relay all relevant project information to the project team once a job is awarded

- Collaborate with the purchasing department to obtain and evaluate vendor bids

- Assist in reviewing project search platforms and identifying future bidding opportunities

- Respond to vendor inquiries and provide clarification on RFQs

- Maintain organized documentation and ensure attention to detail throughout all estimating and project management activities

Skills Required

- Experience estimating dam gates, sector gates, and bridges is a plus, but not required

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong reading comprehension for reviewing technical specifications

- Comfortable making phone calls and communicating directly with clients and vendors

- Team-oriented with a positive, “can-do” attitude

- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Education/Training/Certifications

- High School Degree or Equivalent

Additional Requirements

- Shift Hours: Mon to Fri, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (with 1hour lunch)

Pay Rate/Salary

- $75,000 - $95,000 annually. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
