Enersul is currently seeking a
Human Resources Managerto join our team in Calgary. This role will have responsibility for day to day Human Resource activities within Enersul, in addition to projects and initiatives as part of the Marmon HR community. This is a hands on role with the ability to make a real impact on the organization’s success.

- Provides direction, insight, and assistance to managers and employees on HR related matters.
- Manages the recruitment and onboarding processes, including job posting, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee orientation.
- Partnering with local leadership and HR team to align HR strategies with strategic business goals.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders on Benefit Plan management and administration.
- Supports managers with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Monitors and participates in Labour Relations activities to promote fair and collaborative interactions between union and employer.
- Works closely with HR Director on coordination of internal processes and programs related to Talent Management and Employee Development.
- Acts as a culture champion supporting a collaborative, inclusive and results based environment.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- HR reporting and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with the management team on strategic HR initiatives and projects.
- Partners with Group HR Director and HR colleagues on employee development, compliance and other initiatives and projects in support of the business.
- Seeks out and recommends improvements to process, procedures or approaches to people related business challenges.
- Other duties as required.
- Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager with a Generalist focus. CPHR designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Experience in a unionized environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Knowledge of payroll practices (ADP) would be of benefit.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Workday) and MS Office Suite.
