Description PURPOSE OF POSITION

The HR Manager position is responsible for aligning, supporting and communicating business objectives with employee owners and management in designated business units. The position is a key partner to deliver value-added service to our leaders and employee owners. This position is responsible for engaging our employee owners and being a role model of the core values of the business.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. More Specifically, The Employee Owner Will

- Work closely with management and employee owners to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

- Perform employee relations functions including support and counseling regarding personnel and job-related conflicts, problem solving and dispute resolution, managing employee performance issues, review and assessment of disciplinary requests.

- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

- Maintain employee records, current and terminated including, but not limited to, personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, transfers, promotions, performance reviews, evaluations, and terminations.

- Provide leadership on domestic and international hiring law.

- Manage development, tracking and implementation of employee training programs

- Manage development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, job descriptions and employee handbooks

- Manage with company policy acknowledgements

- Ensure all proper documentation is filed appropriately

- Respond to unemployment claims

- Additional HR functions as required

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

- Engage in regular, consistent attendance


Education – Experience – Computer Skills

- 3-5 years of experience in an HR or similar position

- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience, or

- Equivalent combination of education and experience required


TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES

- Continually participate in additional training in related Human Resources Field

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This job operates in a professional office and production environment, and will require travel between locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This job requires the employee to lift at least 25 pounds infrequently.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

- Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required in production areas and when posted
