About the Position Warner Norcross + Judd is seeking a temporary Human Resources Intern to support our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to HR operations within a professional services environment and is ideal for a motivated student who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn. The role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with data, supporting people-focused initiatives, and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
About the Opportunity Responsibilities:
- Assist the Human Resources team with day-to-day tasks and special projects, providing support across a variety of HR functions
- Support a wide range of Human Resources functions, including but not limited to benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management
- Assist with and gain exposure to talent acquisition and onboarding practices and processes
- Scan, file, and organize HR documentation in both electronic and paper formats to ensure records are accurate and up to date
- Support audits of HR records, including I-9 audits and reviews of personnel files, while maintaining confidentiality
- Provide general support within our HRIS system ExponentHR, including data review, updates, and assistance with HR system-related tasks
- Work with HR team on compliance-related projects, including EEO-1 reporting and internal audits
- Help assemble materials and documentation for HR initiatives, meetings, and presentations
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications as needed
- Assist with additional HR projects and provide general support to the team as needed
- Collaborate with team members to support overall HR department operations while handling sensitive information with discretion

The physical demands of this potion are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. These include being both mobile and stationary throughout the workday, having the ability to transport 25 pounds and being able to operate a computer and other business equipment found in the office.
