back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and
technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.
Position Summary: Will work to improve enjoyment and desire to work at Fidelity Manufacturing. This position, related to retention, will be responsible to support the drive of company culture. Responsibilities include maintaining and developing all payroll processes surrounding processing weekly payroll, attendance tracking, time off policies, and deductions. In addition, the HR Generalist will manage our benefits program and work alongside our broker, and provide HR support with employee and manager inquiries.
- Manage weekly payroll processing for 400+ employees. Process weekly payroll documents and submit for approval.
- Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefit programs.
- Process, track, report and file leaves of absence.
- Structure, oversee and maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical personnel files.
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
- Process complaints and conduct/assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain employee personnel records.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action, if necessary.
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
- Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of payroll processing experience and in the HR field.
- Experience with HRIS/HRMS systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- PHR certification preferred
- Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within human resources.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
- Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
- A proven ability to coordinate multiple priority projects involving different functional areas of the human resources functions and other line and staff departments in the corporation.
