Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and enhance our HR functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can effectively manage human capital and drive organizational success.
- Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of employee leave, including FMLA, medical leave, personal leave, and return-to-work processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws, and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate return-to-work accommodations and collaborate with management on transitional duty assignments
- Serve as a key resource for employee relations issues—coach managers, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts fairly and consistently
- Provide guidance and support on performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution
- Deliver training to managers on HR compliance topics such as leave laws, workplace policies, and employee relations best practices
- Coordinates with departments to develop and maintain job descriptions for all positions within the company.
- Monitor HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Ensure company compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, etc.).
- Conduct regular HR audits to assess and ensure compliance in payroll, benefits, hiring practices, and workplace safety.
- Assists with developing and updating HR and company policies and procedures
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Occasional travel required for training, recruiting events, site visits, etc.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS system.
- Advanced knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, Workers Comp, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in field.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP desired.
