Job Summary:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Senior HR Leader to support key operational areas within the HR functions of benefits and payroll support, compensation and legal compliance, and HRIS administration. Key Responsibilities:
1. Benefits & Payroll Support
•Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
•Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers, resolving questions and issues promptly and putting out bids for benefit administration and supplemental insurance rates
•Provide payroll support, ensuring accurate benefit deductions and coordination with finance/payroll teams
•Support annual open enrollment and new hire benefits orientation
2. Compensation & Legal Compliance
•Maintain internal compensation structures and support market benchmarking activities
•Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies, including wage and hour regulations and required notices
•Support audit preparation and respond to government agency requests when necessary
3. HRIS & Data Management
•Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system (e.g., Paycom, ADP, UKG, etc.)
•Generate reports and dashboards to support data-driven HR decisions
•Partner with IT and HR leadership to improve system workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity
•Support HR technology rollouts and system upgrades
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
•10+ years of HR experience with a focus in all three core areas
•Experience working with HRIS platforms and payroll systems with Rippling being strongly preferred
•Strong understanding of benefits administration and compensation practices
•Familiarity with labor law and HR compliance requirements in the state of CA
•High level of accuracy, integrity, and discretion with sensitive data
