We are an established facility services organization seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator to assist us in the performance of key HR functions in the Washington DC area. Experience in union work environments (SEIU) is desirable. This is primarily an "as needed" position operating remotely, with availability for in-person services on occasions.
Typical HR Services Needed:
•Recruitment And Screening Of New Hires - Primarily Janitorial Workers.
•Orientation And Onboarding Of New Employees. Facilitate New Hire Paperwork.
•Provide Guidance In Developing Performance Appraisal Tools And Assist With Implementation Of Maintenance Of The Appraisal Process.
•Facilitate Quarterly And Annual Performance Reviews.
•Handle Disciplinary Issues And Related Performance Improvement Initiates Where Needed.
•Handle Employee Terminations And Exit Interviews Where Needed.
•Provide Guidance On Employee Training And Development Plans Applicable To Our Line Of Work.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree with 5 -10 years HR experience desired.
•Knowledge of Metro DC Area (Northern VA, DC, Southern MD).
•Familiar with union work environments (SEIU).
•Ability to travel locally for on-site services.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
