SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator works closely with the HR Supervisor to support the daily functions of the HR department, ensuring smooth operations, and providing excellent service to our manufacturing workforce. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of HR principles, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain all employee data within the HRIS ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely updates for changes in status, pay, job titles, and personal information.
- Process all new hire, transfer, and termination documentation and data entry.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc HR reports on metrics such as headcount, turnover, attendance, and training compliance for the HR team.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure consistency between physical files, digital records, and the HRIS.
- Ensure all necessary employment forms, I-9 documentation, and compliance acknowledgments are collected, organized, and properly retained.
- Assist the HR Manager with compliance reporting requirements (e.g., EEO-1, OSHA logs, audit preparation).
- Assist in coordinating employee recognition programs, company events, and internal communications.
- Help ensure the manufacturing facility is compliant with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., OSHA recordkeeping, EEO, etc.).
- Associates degree in Human Resources or related field
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Knowledge of HR operations and administration
- Bilingual in English and Korean
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
