Triple M Metal is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Human Resources Department in Hamilton, On.
As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to develop your HR skillset under the direction of our Sr. Human Resource Business Partner, Employee and Labor Relations Specialist and provide essential support across a spectrum of HR initiatives. This role will expose you to both tactical and strategic HR functions within a unionized environment.

- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, defined contribution pension plan (DCPP) etc.
- Take ownership for HR Systems, not limited to, Ceridian Dayforce, Mfiles, & Beekeeper.
- Full cycle recruiting for internal/external positions, supporting the entire employee life cycle.
- Leverage HR expertise to participate in the prompt resolution of employee relations challenges and initiate proactive measures to minimize related matters.
- Participate in the resolution of labor relations matters, not limited too, Collective Agreement interpretation, application and negotiations, grievance resolution and arbitration research/preparation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of workplace policies, programs and procedures. Actively participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
- Strong ability with MS Office Suite.
- Superior ability to manage and maintain confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent analytical, research, attention to detail, problem solving and organizational abilities.
- Clear and concise communication in English, written and verbal.
- Post Secondary Education in Human Resources.
- Experience in an HR Admin/Coordinator role, preferred but not required.
- Experience with HR systems and tools (Ceridian Dayforce/Mfiles/Beekeeper), preferred but not required.
- Goal of and actively working towards obtaining CHRP.
- Ability to travel with access to a vehicle and valid Drivers License.
- You’re a bounty hunter in everything you do and eager to learn and see results.
