Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual HR Coordinator to support the Human Resources department, with a strong emphasis on documentation, policy creation, and administrative tasks. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to ensure effective communication with a diverse workforce and support compliance across HR processes.
Responsibilities
•Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
•Manage employee orientation programs to familiarize new hires with company policies and culture.
•Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries, keep smooth communication to the accounting team on this.
•Support workforce management by maintaining accurate employee records and data entry in HR systems such as QBO.
•Facilitate conflict management processes by addressing employee concerns and facilitating resolutions.
•Participate in strategic planning initiatives related to talent acquisition and succession planning.
•Administer workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
•Manage Chils Support and Benefits program.
•Draft, translate, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and official documentation.
•Prepare disciplinary notices, evaluation forms, training documentation, and other internal HR materials.
•Serve as a bilingual liaison to help communicate policies, updates, and general HR information to Spanish-speaking employees.
•Assist with scheduling employee evaluations, meetings, and HR-related trainings.
•Monitor HR deadlines and assist in ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks.
Requirements
•Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) – required.
•at least 2 years of proven experience in human resources.
•Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
•Familiarity with QBO or similar HR software is a plus.
•Knowledge of benefits administration processes and workforce management strategies.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
•Ability to manage conflicts professionally and strategically plan for future workforce needs.
•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•High school diploma or equivalent required; HR coursework or certification preferred
