An administrative assistant provides crucial support to an office, department, or individuals, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily tasks and administrative processes.
Responsibilities
•Answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling inquiries.
•Managing incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and correspondence.
•Maintaining office supplies, ordering as needed, and managing inventory.
•Ensuring the reception area and office are clean and well-maintained.
•Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems and databases.
•Coordinating office procedures and ensuring their efficient implementation.
•Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
•Documentation and Reporting:
•Preparing, editing, and proofreading documents, reports, presentations, memos, and other correspondence.
•Assisting with data entry, compiling information, and generating reports.
•Maintaining records and assisting with employee record keeping.
•Support to Staff and Management:
•Providing administrative support to managers and employees.
•Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as tracking expenses and preparing invoices.
•May oversee or supervise the work of junior staff.
