Overview:
The Danos HR Assistant will be responsible for hiring efforts across South Texas. This role will focus on sourcing and coordinating candidates for a variety of field and office positions. The ideal candidate is organized, a strong communicator, and eager to grow within the recruiting field.
Responsibilities:
•Promote and protect the Danos Corporate name, reputation, and goodwill.
•Conduct business and activities consistent with Danos Corporate Purpose, Vision, and Values.
•Partner with different Danos departments at the appropriate peer level to share information and leverage resources to facilitate a high-quantity, high-quality search process.
•Exhibit an understanding of the current market space, business trends, and Danos’ needs in the South TX area.
•Demonstrate ownership of the communication process with appropriate internal and external customer personnel to ensure all acquisition activities align with stated business objectives and staffing needs.
•Develop, maintain, and execute multiple, reliable sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines for unrelenting demands for talent across multiple locations and business lines; innovation and creativity is encouraged.
•Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve talent acquisition and placement processes.
•Demonstrate advanced skill in coordinating and/or conducting the screening, interview, and assessment process to maintain a sufficient quantity of candidates to fill open position requisitions.
•Demonstrate understanding and capability in using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
•Contribute to the business element of talent acquisition by tracking and reporting activity and results in a timely and accurate manner. Track, review, and analyze activity and results for any assigned project/initiatives.
•Fulfill duties and conduct activities consistent with an understanding and demonstration of the Danos Staff Behavioral Competencies.
•Any other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned or necessary to complete the scope of work, as directed by the Recruiting Manager.
Qualifications:
•2+ year of oil & gas industry experience required.
•Experience with a full cycle recruiting process in a high volume environment preferred.
•Strong priority management skills with the ability to maintain focus and discipline on multiple projects.
•Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with an in-depth knowledge of internet research and data mining techniques (specifically in Indeed and LinkedIn); ATS: ICIMS experience is preferred.
•Excellent communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and ability to function in a high-performance team-based environment.
