Job Summary
Supports on-going coordination of the company’s Corporate Compliance framework. Assists in the administration of compliance programs and processes. Analyzes compliance data and documentation to identify risks or needed controls, ensure regulatory alignment, and support informed decision-making.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities•Performs detailed analytical assessments of compliance matters (such as risk assessments) to ensure conformity with applicable federal, state, and industry regulations, as well as internal policy and governance standards.
•Assists in administering a corporate compliance and ethics program, including supporting the development, review and archiving of compliance documentation and execution of compliance program initiatives and activities.
•Participates in contract analysis and monitoring as needed.
•Administers SharePoint based compliance monitoring database. Maintains and updates associated data to maintain data quality and accuracy. Participates and leads user training. Coordinates with technical support team to resolve technical issues and oversees system upgrades.
•Supports compliance team in providing guidance to SMEs in developing and documenting procedures and processes necessary to illustrate compliance and facilitate continuing process and performance improvements and other compliance activities.
•Participates in the development of and regular updates to compliance training materials and presents compliance and policy training to employees.
•Assists in preparing relevant regular and ad-hoc reports for leadership.
•Participates on internal and external committees, task forces and working groups, as necessary.
Requirements
•Bachelor's Degree in a related field or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
Specific Level Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation or equivalent preferred.
All Level Requirements:
•Previous corporate compliance, contract analyst, regulatory analyst, paralegal or auditing experience preferred.
•Previous experience in a utility, energy or transmission company environment preferred.
•Demonstrated and strong analytical expertise.
•Must possess exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
•Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
•Must be able to work independently and accurately complete all responsibilities in a timely manner.
•Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, Copilot, Sharepoint and PowerPoint with aptitude to learn and utilize additional technical resources.
•Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and departmental teams.
•Ability to successfully manage multiple project assignments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
•Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
