About the Supervisor of Maintenance Position

A Maintenance Supervisor provides the day-to-day direction and oversight for preventative and corrective maintenance activities performed by Colonial technicians and contractors. Your chief objective is to achieve safety, system integrity and Operational Excellence by leading and managing employee performance and behavior toward the application of organizational programs, policies, and plans. A Maintenance Supervisor supports the installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of industrial, electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems and equipment for pipeline product transportation.

The base compensation range for this role is expected to be: $ 120,275 - $ 162,725. A new hire’s compensation may very within the compensation range provided based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, education, skills, licensures, and certifications. Colonial provides a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:

Physical ability to respond to emergency situations. Work indoors and outdoors at all hours in all weather conditions in close proximity to refined petroleum products. Physical mobility to walk, sit, stand, reach, pull, push and bend. Digital dexterity for operation of calculator, PC keyboard and mouse. Hearing in the normal range. Lift up to 20 pounds. Speak at a normal voice range. Climb stairs, vertical ladders up to 10 ft. and tank steps as high as 60 ft. Color recognition for control panel indicator lights and to analyze product colors. Normal visual acuity for reading VDT screen, pressure charts and control panel counters. Physical strength to open and close manually operated valves and pressure vessel (trap, strainers, and filter) closures. Must be aware of hazards associated with field facilities and oil/gas pipeline industry.
