Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in facilities management. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of technicians, coordinate maintenance activities, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
•
Supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
•
Develop and implement maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and inventory.
•
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
•
Troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose problems.
•
Maintain low voltage systems, ensuring they operate within specified parameters.
•
Read and interpret schematics to facilitate repairs and installations.
•
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
•
Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills.
•
Prepare reports on maintenance activities, including completed work orders, equipment status, and team performance.
Skills
•
Proficient in CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
•
Experience with low voltage systems is highly desirable.
•
Familiarity with using voltmeters and ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
•
Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of supervising teams effectively.
•
Solid understanding of facilities management principles.
•
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics accurately.
•
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
