Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Overview

We are looking for a Red Seal certified heavy duty mechanic.

Experience:

- Shop and field experience is a must

- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose & repair equipment issues

- Leadership skills required to run a crew of 4-6 people.

- Limited travel will be necessary

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong customer service skills

The following are also requirements:

- Reliable

- Able to work alone or with others

- Safety conscious

- Must have own transportation

- Able to use a forklift and overhead crane safely

- Welding experience is an asset but not mandatory

- Willing to work out of town on certain jobs/projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
