Job Description

We are looking for a versatile Graphic & Web Designer who bridges the gap between creative vision and technical execution. You will be the architect of our digital presence, responsible for designing modern, user-friendly interfaces for websites, admin portals, and mobile applications. Beyond just making things look good, you will translate those designs into responsive HTML, ensuring a seamless transition from Figma to the browser.

Job Requirements

- UI/UX Mastery: Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for websites and complex admin portals using Figma.

- Prototyping: Build wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate user flows and interactions.

- Front-End Implementation: Convert Figma designs into clean, semantic, and responsive HTML/CSS.

- Cross-Platform Optimization: Ensure all designs are pixel-perfect and optimized across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

- Mobile Design: Craft mobile app interfaces with a heavy focus on usability, consistency, and platform-specific guidelines (iOS/Android).

- Visual Assets: Create branding elements, banners, and marketing materials as needed to support business goals.

- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure design integrity throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate is a recent college graduate or has 4 years of experience working as Graphics and Web Designer. We are looking for talented individuals who have:

- Figma Expert: Deep proficiency in Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping.

- Web & Portal Design: Proven experience designing functional, data-heavy admin portals and marketing websites.

- Coding Foundations: Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, specifically focusing on responsive and adaptive design techniques.

- Graphic Design Sense: A strong eye for branding, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

- Mobile Intuition: A clear understanding of mobile-first design principles.

- Detail-Oriented: A meticulous eye for detail and a refined sense of aesthetics.

- Interactivity: Basic knowledge of JavaScript to enhance web interactions.

- Agile Experience: Familiarity with working in agile or collaborative dev environments.

- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing both UI/UX case studies and front-end implementation.

Education Qualifications

- A college diploma in IT Computer Systems or relevant experience is required. Higher accreditation (e.g., Bachelor of Computer Science) is an asset.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
