Job Title: Helper (General Labor)

Location: Houston, TX 77011 (East Downtown)

NFLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Purpose of Job: Assisting experienced personnel with tasks in the department assigned

Education/Experience:

- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required

- 1 year of general laborer experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities: (Duties include, but are not limited to)

- Ability to read, communicate, understand and execute instructions

- Assisting with prep work consisting of cleaning, masking, blasting and the racking of parts, per department requirements

- Wrapping and packaging parts, as needed

- Maintaining a clean work environment

- Willingness to assist in any department, as needed

- Willingness to learn new tasks and perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor , Plant Manager or Production Manager

- Willingness and ability to work weekends, as needed

- Must follow Company Safety Practices

- Must follow all Company Rules, Procedures and Policies

Physical Requirements:

- The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly

- The ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally (as needed)

- The ability to stand and/or walk a minimum of 8 hours per day

- The ability to respond quickly to sounds

- The ability to work in a warehouse environment (heat and cold)

- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations

- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly (as required)

- The ability to use and wear a respirator for up to 8 hours (as needed)

- The ability to climb stairs (as needed)

Night Shift Premium - additional $2 hr. from (5pm-5am)
