Job Summary: Assist furnace operator with load set up or take down.
- Assemble and disassemble furnace loads as instructed.
- Unpack and repack parts as instructed.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Assists Supervisor in training functions as directed.
- Ensures security and proper use of company equipment, tooling, and supplies.
- Adheres to all safety standards and procedures, and maintains an ongoing awareness of safety for self and others in assigned work areas.
- Participates in company sponsored training as required.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Qualifications: Ability to follow directions and work efficiently.
Working Conditions: Working on the processing floor where there is dirt, dust, oil, processing chemicals, and varying temperatures.Summer temperatures are extremely hot, over 100 degrees. Winter temperatures are cool.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
- Safety Shoes & Glasses Required.
Hours: Monday - Friday 1:30pm-10pm, with a required 30 minute unpaid lunch.
