Financial Controller

Our accounting consultancy is comprised of driven and creative problem solvers who serve as financial leadership for our portfolio of clients in the capacity of CFO, controller, accountant and consultant. We are proud of the work we do for our clients, we focus on long-term, value-added relationships with our clients that frequently involve complex projects.

We are currently hiring into a need for an experienced professional in the oversight of budgeting, internal control systems implementation and oversight and development project experience.

Your responsibilities at the outset include, but are not limited to:

- Preparation of financial information for financial reporting (IFRS), including consolidations and financial statements

- Budget oversight and associated tracking

- Project development, expenditure and procurement system oversight

- Oversight of bookkeeper and administrative support

- Working with CFOs on a daily basis to facilitate strong systems and internal communications

The key clients of this person are in the mining industry and have international reporting requirements. Operational experience is an asset.

Qualifications:

- Fluency in IFRS

- Intermediate to Advanced capabilities work in Excel

- Ability to work in a team environment and be proactive in communication

- Reliable and committed to supporting team members

- Mining experience valued

Education & Experience

- CPA designated with 2+ years post CPA designation experience

- Demonstrated success working with senior management and in public company markets

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
