Financial Controller

SS&PF is a locally owned business originated in 1976 and located NSL Utah. Our plant consists of 18 acres and includes 100,000 square feet of production area. With over 100 teammates and an annual revenue of $35M we fabricate simple and complex projects for the Western US industrial market.

The Controller will be responsible for all daily financial operations. With three assistants they will work in coordination with ownership, senior management, and outside accounting resources. This is a proactive role where one is expected to drive the financial success of the organization. He/She will help with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and the overall growth and sustainability of the company.

Compensation $100K-$150K DOE. | Inquire for Bonus Structure

Responsibilities and Tasks

- Assemble monthly financials

- Interface with financing and banking institutions

- Create, track and manage budgeting

- Manage and provide cash forecasts

- Ensure AR/AP is being done appropriately

- Manage and provide routine borrowing bases

- Help in the selection and procurement of insurance, and other financial products

- Collaborate with ownership and senior management in the financial direction of the business

- Manage, support, and mentor junior team members.

- Create, and enforce proper accounting procedures within the ecosystem

- Ensure the company is practicing GAAP compliance

Requirements

- EDUCATION | B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or Finance

- EXPERIANCE | 5 +Years of experience in a small to medium sized organization

- Thorough knowledge of the accounting cycle, its principles procedures.

- SKILLS

- Proficiency in Net Suite/QuickBooks

- Strong EXCEL skills

- Strong learning dexterity

Preferences

- EDUCATION | MAcc or MBA

- EXPERIANCE | 7+ Years of industry experience

- CERTIFICATIONS | CPA

- SKILLS

- Experience in an accounting firm or working as an Office Manager

- Strong communication skills

- Familiarity with Paycom
