Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Field Supervisor! You will supervise Home Energy Analysis Technicians, providing motivation and direction on activities, behaviors, and performance, aligned with organization goals, values, and norms. Your scope of work will include identifying and analyzing problems, monitoring team budget and resource allocations to ensure proper use of assets, reporting to management and program(s) on team accomplishments, and developing long-range financial and nonfinancial objectives and strategic plans identifying internal and external issues that could affect growth and profitability. You may also provide internal and external presentations on program offerings and savings acquisition initiatives.

The Ideal candidate will be located in the Grand Rapids/Western Michigan area.

- Coach, mentor, and support Home Energy Analysis Technicians through regular field ride-alongs, quality reviews, and hands-on training.

- Identify quality or performance issues and translate findings into practical training materials, process improvements, and clear expectations.

- Serve as a professional on-site representative to customers, contractors, and community partners, helping encourage participation and resolving barriers.

- Balance a strong field presence with administrative responsibilities such as reporting, scheduling coordination, and budget input.

- Collaborate with the Dispatch Team to build efficient, realistic route plans that account for workload, geography, and available labour.

- Step into the field as needed to support technicians, troubleshoot issues, or help resolve customer concerns.

- Assist with diagnosing and addressing minor installation-related issues or damages when they occur.

- Travel throughout a defined territory. Act as local on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.

Exciting candidates will have...

- 5-8 years relevant experience energy efficiency, weatherization, construction, HVAC, or a related field.

- Experience leading, training, mentoring, or supervising field staff (formal supervisory experience preferred).

- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

- BPI certified preferred or willingness to obtain.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving background.

- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

- Preferably located in Jackson, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, or other Central to Southwest locations.

$70,000.00

Compensation Range

$68,300.00 - $102,500.00
