Fuel Sales Representative

Location: Laredo, Texas Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a results-driven Fuel Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage prospective customers. The ideal candidate will provide complete and appropriate fuel solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition, and overall profitability.

Responsibilities

- Present, promote, and sell fuel products and services to existing and prospective customers.

- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of customers to recommend tailored fuel solutions.

- Establish, develop, and maintain strong business and customer relationships.

- Reach out to new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

- Resolve customer problems and complaints promptly to maximize satisfaction.

- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.

- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments (logistics, dispatch, accounting).

- Analyze territory/market potential, track sales performance, and provide regular reports.

- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, competitive activity, and potential for new products or services.

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, fuel pricing trends, and promotional strategies.

- Continuously improve performance through feedback and training.

Skills & Qualifications

- Proven work experience as a sales representative (fuel, lubricants, or related industry preferred).

- Strong knowledge of MS Office.

- Familiarity with CRM systems and ability to build productive professional relationships.

- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.

- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational abilities.

- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to customer needs.

- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in sales.

Pay: $44,743.66 - $85,000.00 per year
