Oasis Windows is a family-owned, 34 year old Window manufacturing company and is looking for a Sales Representative to join the team. We are looking for a driven and capable individual to target builders, contractors, architects, and developers to promote and grow product usage and knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity with an industry leader offering great technical training, and growth opportunities. Please note that the position is on a commission basis only.
- Works to target and successfully sell to builders and homeowners within the key target profile;
- Focuses on customers within the target audience profile, understands their business, provides a compelling reason to buy, and positions the Company’s value proposition and whole-product solution to the customer;
- Educates and convinces builders to convert from using their current building products to using the Company’s products.
- Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals;
- Proven success in developing new business and generating sales leads by managing a territory and selling activities;
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving, crafting a win-win solution (collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a timely basis) and negotiation with special emphasis on closing the sale.
- Excellent presentation skills before both small and large groups.
- Willingness and ability to work from a variety of environments (home, office, in field) and structure a productive day with little to no supervision.
- Reading of architectural drawings, performing detailed take-offs, and preparing quotes.
- Site visits for measurements and meeting clients.
- Detail oriented to study and understanding building code and client requirements in relation to companies' product range and specifications.
- Must own a vehicle with a valid drivers license in British Columbia.
- Windows and/or Construction experience would be an asset.
- Degree or Diploma in Business preferred.
- 1 or more years of successful outside sales experience selling value-added, whole solution products to customers within the consumer durables, manufacturing, or other transferable industry preferred.
