Key Responsibilities
- Provide back-up power solutions to prospective customers by conducting three or four in-home appointments per day. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' energy requirements and challenges. Recommend appropriate solutions from our product portfolio to meet their needs effectively.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads and opportunities using CRM software. Track interactions, follow-ups, and next steps to ensure timely progress through the sales process.
- Negotiation and Closing: Utilize effective sales techniques to overcome objections, negotiate terms, and close deals. Drive towards achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Schedule additional appointments with prospective customers through networking, building relationships with industry leaders like homebuilders, and generating referrals from existing customers. The majority of leads come from the company marketing efforts but Field Sales Representatives generate 10-20% of their leads.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- At least 1-2 years of sales experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects and clients
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of closing deals and achieving sales quotas
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving objectives
- Love of learning and testing new strategies and processes
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Georgia region
