Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety programs within the construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks on construction sites. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations, EHS and LAUSD/City of Los Angeles standards.

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

•

Provide training and resources to employees on occupational health, risk management, and safe work practices.

•

Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into construction management processes.

•

Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports while recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

•

Maintain records related to workers' compensation claims and ensure timely reporting of incidents.

•

Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to safety management in the construction sector.
