Responsibilities of the Field Safety Manager Include:
•Ability to oversee activities on specified job locations to ensure all operations are being performed in a safe manner at all times
•Perform risk assessments of daily tasks as required
•Individual will be responsible for making sure policies are followed at all times set forth by Appellation Construction Services, LLC.
•Responsible for ensuring work crews follow all customer and environmental requirements
•Hire in and train new hires to customer requirements
•In field traveling site to site or be placed on a site for an extended period of time
•Responsible for the daily submission of safety reports
•Provide solutions to issues that arise on ongoing basis and communicate them to the Project or Director of Safety.
•Maintain and provide all required documentation as requested
•Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors
•Individual is required to report any behaviors on the job that would negatively impact the safety, deadline, budget or reputation of Appellation Construction Services, LLC. or its customers
•Must be able to effectively address any unsafe condition or action and provide immediate instruction to remedy the situation
•Conduct daily safety meetings as needed
•Assist in the completion of accident/injury reports as needed
Qualifications of Field Safety Manager:
•Experience with Operator Qualifications specific to the Natural Gas Industry is preferred
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Work effectively with customers, union employees and internal Project Management team to always represent Appellation Construction Services, LLC in a professional manner
•Excellent communication skills with external and internal constituents
•Strong, honest work ethic
•Effective time management and prioritization skills
•Ability to travel as needed which includes extended overnight stays per job requirements
•Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience
•Willingness to complete additional trainings as necessary

Strong communication and time management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, will be essential as you prepare reports and analyze root causes of incidents, contributing to the overall safety culture of the organization.
