About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Alberta Gathering System, the Field Operator will be responsible for the ongoing safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation of the Alberta Gathering Terminals, Booster stations, LACTs and supporting pipeline gathering systems. This position will work collaboratively with various groups across Midstream, external vendors and the community.

Work Environment:

- This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area. This position will support Lloydminster and surrounding areas.

- This is a full-time employee position working a rotating shift of 10 hrs/day; 8 days on 6 days off.

What you’ll do:

- Ensure regulatory and compliance inspections and checks are completed and uploaded in a timely matter, entering notifications on issues identified.

- Complete daily operational rounds and facility checks.

- Ensure all safety tickets and CAP-O items are up to date.

- Update, maintain and input SAP notifications, and closing out of the work orders. Place PO generation requests in SAP.

- Enter and manage Intelex items for any safety incidents, inputting audit and inspections details and documentation of developing actions as a result.

- Assist the Lloyd Control Room with any field location issues.

- Assist and troubleshoot facility balances with the measurement group.

- Develop and execute work plans for small and big work outages.

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

- Legally authorized to work in Canada.

- Minimum grade 12 diploma.

- Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience or 6 years’ experience plus: GPO III; or GPO A&B; or PFO A&B, or Journeyman trades, or 4th class Power Engineer

- Experience working with SAP.

- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry, gathering and compression considered an asset.

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.

For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
