POSITION TITLE: Field Operator

Position Summary: The Field Operators are responsible for driving, operating, and maintaining BJ Energy specifically designed Fracturing Services field equipment such as the TITAN pump, TRUDUO Chemical Additive unit and TRUDUO Autonomous EBlender, also responsible for mentoring and assisting in training other Field Operators.

Our TITAN® platform is a full solution of Turbine Direct Drive pumps, electric blenders, gas treatment & power generation all controlled by our Fully Automated Control & Telemetry System (FACTS). TITAN Pumps are powered by a direct drive 5,000 SHP continuous dual shaft turbine engine, which is fueled by 100% field gas. The TRUDUO EBlender is a BJ Energy exclusive next generation electric blender controls system designed with dual-path flow capabilities and fully autonomous operation. The design allows for the EBlender unit to operate as two distinct blenders which maximize production time and minimize footprint.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for driving and operating heavy and complex Fracturing trucks and field equipment (i.e., TITAN Pump, TRUDUO, EBLENDER, etc.).

- Maintains company vehicles and field sites to BJ standards, with personal protective equipment is in proper working order.

- Performs rigging in /rigging out duties for fracturing field services; contributes to safe rigging operations during and after service delivery.

- Lifts, carry and move iron pipes, hoses, and fracturing parts field to / from trucks and wellsite.

- Aligns, assembles, and disassembles iron, hoses, and fracturing pieces.

- Performs fluid end maintenance to BJ Energy standards and expectations as directed through the Operator Qualification process.

- Completes required paperwork and submits it to the appropriate parties accurately and on time (i.e., Pre-Use inspection sheets, fuel log report, timesheets and logbooks, maintenance reports, month-end expense reports, trip permits).

- Always Utilizes BJ’s Operating & Safety Standards in the shop, yard and location while traveling.

- Reports all hazards or potentially hazardous situations, accidents, incidents, and injuries immediately to supervisor.

- All other duties assigned.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Valid Driver License

- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and Personal Protective Field (PPE)

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to think on feet and adapt to situations

- Problem recognition and problem-solving skills.

- Highly safety conscious

- Ability to work various schedules with travel up to 100%.

- Shift is 16 days on 12 days off.
