Field Electrical Engineer (EIT)

Position: Field Electrical Engineer EIT

Location: 200 Evans Ave. Unit 9, Etobicoke, Ontario.

Description of role:

You will assist in all aspects of Power System services in line with the company mission and service portfolio. This position requires a deep passion for consistently achieving results at a high level, positively impacting coworkers and clients, and performing excellent work consistently and continuously. You will self-perform and/or guide highly advanced technical work. This role may include and is not limited to the following:

· Conduct functional testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of power system equipment such as HV/MV/LV apparatus, protective relays, control panels, and associated systems.

· High Voltage testing and insulation diagnostics.

· Online Non-Destructive Testing.

· Perform routine maintenance activities as required.

· Statistic development.

· Maintenance & refurbishment plan development.

Basis for consideration:

· Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power System, alternatively an equivalent college degree and associated experience.

· 1 year of proven hands on experience in the Substation and High Voltage field.

· Excellent written and communication skills.

· Ability to perform field work up to 70% of total work time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
