Scope of Work:

Assist in mechanical assembly of industrial engines, coolers, generators, and related components including alignment of equipment to meet WPI packaging standards. Run screwed piping for equipment utilities, install safety shut-downs, guards/shields as required. Training with Class B, A, Journeyman, etc. in below described duties.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Assist overhauling various compressor frames and cylinders

- Assist in setting and aligning coolers, install vessels, run screwed piping for engine utilities, install safety shutdowns, assist in aligning engine to compressor

- Follow daily instructions from Leaderman, Journeyman & Class A

- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

- Some mechanical knowledge helpful

- Must High School Diploma or equivalent

- Trade school or special service training preferred

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

- Must have the ability to effectively operate a fork lift

- Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
