Extrusion Operator Level 1 (FWD - Heat Treat)

DEPARTMENT: Extrusion

JOB TITLE: Operator Level 1 (FWD – Heat Treat)

REPORTS TO: Department Manager with direction from Team Captain

SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: Week 1: Sunday through Tuesday (6 am – 6 pm)

Week 2: Sunday through Tuesday (6 am – 6 pm & Wednesday (6 am – 2 pm)

Bonnell Aluminum is searching for an individual to join our Extrusion team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Assisting/Operating various types of machinery including (but not limited to):

- Cut to Length Saws

- Stretchers

- Ascona Measuring system

- Walkie Riders (must have a valid license through Bonnell)

• Inspecting material to specified instructions using measuring tools, such as:

- Tape Measure

- Steel Ruler

- Venire / Dial Calipers

- Protractors

• Moving material to and from value streams

• Maintaining all specified tolerances per instructions

• Inspiring others to work efficiently, defuse conflict, and make good decisions

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Job Requirements:

• Ability to push, pull, or lift heavy loads

• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers).

• Maintain excellent attendance

• Ability to work with little to no supervision

• Able to work overtime, as needed
