About The Role
As an ERP Configuration Manager with Maverick Power, you will be responsible for the governance of engineered product configurations within the company ERP system. This includes all parts, materials, subassemblies, and labor operations involved in delivering Maverick’s products to our customers. This position will work closely with other departments to ensure engineered configurations meet all department requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation of parts and configurations within the ERP system to ensure compliance with Maverick Power standards
- Work with sales, project management, finance, and production departments to make sure the configurations meet all departmental needs
- Work with ERP Administrator to implement tactical and strategic initiatives around the use of the ERP system; serve as back-up to ERP Administrator during absence
- Governance of the engineered configurations from Engineering and R&D prior to release of materials to other departments
- Coordinate with the Production Planning and Procurement teams to make sure configured parts can meet procurement demands and production schedules
- Maintain part-numbering standards and oversee the creation of new parts required for engineered configurations
- Develop tools, techniques, custom queries, dashboards, and process for continued improvement of Maverick’s use of the ERP system.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with ERP systems and/or data analytics (e.g., reporting, dashboards, data validation, process improvement).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (required).
- Experience proactively managing priorities, executing independently, and driving results without needing external direction.
- Experience taking full responsibility for outcomes; identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and following through to completion.
- Experience building cross-functional relationships; integrating diverse perspectives and data to deliver business improvements and achieve shared goals.
- Experience diagnosing root causes, analyzing information, developing alternative solutions, and implementing fixes that prevent recurrence.
- Experience resolving conflict constructively, maintaining confidentiality, listening actively, staying composed, and remaining open to new ideas.
- Experience balancing individual and team responsibilities; giving & receiving constructive feedback; building morale; supporting others’ success.
- Experience navigating change management. Creating workable implementation plans; communicating changes clearly; building buy-in, addressing resistance, and monitoring adoption/results.
- Experience aligning work to organizational goals; assessing strengths/weaknesses, market dynamics, risks/opportunities, and adapting plans as conditions change.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
