Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary’s office is actively hiring for an Environment & Regulatory Intern to join the team. This position reports to the Manager, Regulatory & Environment in the External Affairs business unit, part of Pembina’s Legal, People, and Corporate Affairs division.

The External Affairs Service Unit brings together Land, Communications and Government Relations to provide essential services to projects and to ongoing Pembina business. In addition, this group effectively mobilizes project support, while ensuring proper governance and controls are in place.

Please note that this is a 4-month term and the successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary, AB

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

- Perform role‑specific responsibilities such as regulatory and environment data compilation, transfer, and consolidation. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term;

- Support day‑to‑day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as (e.g. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and SharePoint, Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems);

- Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;

- Demonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and

- Contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace by being gracious, kind, respectful, and working effectively with others.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in an office environment is considered an asset;

- Self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills;

- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program and returning to school following the end of the work term;

- Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;

- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and

- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations.

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.

This position is scheduled to be posted until end of day: 03/20/2026. In rare circumstances, a position may be posted for less time if there has been significant interest in the role.
