Entry Level Sales Representative - Solar

Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a positive impact on your community? We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Entry Level Solar Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in connecting residential and small business customers with the benefits of local community solar farms and/or helping homeowners schedule consultations for solar panels at their home. This role will be based out of our Wilmington, Delaware office, but requires travel and outside field work.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: As a Solar Sales Agent, your primary responsibility will be to engage with residential and small business customers in your community. You'll educate them about the advantages of subscribing to a local community solar farm and/or the benefits of solar panels on their property, emphasizing the environmental benefits and cost savings.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in solar energy and our community solar offerings. You'll be expected to articulate the financial and environmental aspects of the service convincingly.

Sales Targets: You'll have sales targets to meet, and your success will be measured by your ability to convert potential customers into enthusiastic community solar subscribers.

Qualifications:

- Passion for Renewable Energy: A genuine passion for clean, renewable energy and a desire to promote sustainability.

- Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, especially in the energy sector, is a plus but not mandatory.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.

- Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.

- Full and Valid Drivers license(not a permit) is an asset but not mandatory

Expected yearly pay, 1st year with no experience: $44,000.00 - $75,000.00
